An 18-year-old man in India identified as Narenda Kumar, suffered from stomach pain and sudden weight loss was rushed to the hospital at a mysterious cause.
Doctors are stunned after having an operation on the man’s belly. They found a parasite that developed inside the man’s body since birth.
The parasite was a 2.5 kg bone with hair and teeth.
Dr. Rajeeve Singh explained the condition as “Foetus in fetu”, a condition when a fetus enters its twin through the umblical cord.
“The boy’s stomach grew, but his plight went undiscovered for years because neither his parents were aware of his medical condition nor the doctors could diagnose the condition at an early stage,” the doctor said.
